How About An Update?

First of all, I just wanted to pop on here to apologize for being absent! I've had a lot of exciting things happening that have been eating up all of my time!

Just a quick recap: I went on the very first Halloween on the High Seas cruise on the Disney Wish! It was a complete blast and I made so many new friends while on board. It was such a great time and I am so so grateful I could go!

I was home for less than a week and then took my Nana to Connecticut (she lived all 100 years of her life there and has been missing it every day since we moved her to Florida) and while it was a quick and stressful visit for me and my mom, she had such a great time! We were able to visit family and hit all of the great food spots! We took her to where her childhood home was, and how sweet it was to see her enjoying and recognizing it all. I'll share more of our journey in a separate post for those interested in our story.

Now I'm home for about two weeks before the next big adventure: New York! I'll be going to the city for the first part of the journey. Frank works NYCC every year and it is my favorite part of the entire year! I get to stay in the city and can see broadway shows, eat bagels and pizza, and check out the con for a week! This year we added on a whole other week to the trip because Frank's best friend is getting married and he's the best man! We will be staying in the Catskills in a CABIN! Then we'll be staying on Long Island and touring all of Frank's childhood spots! This is the very first time I've been able to go to Long Island with him since we got together, four years ago. I'm thrilled to finally see all the places he loves so much.

So now maybe it makes a little sense that I've been absent! Haha! I'll be working on some posts about the Halloween cruise, some tips specific for the Wish, and some NYC tips and favorite spots! So please check back for those, and keep an eye on my Instagram for when new posts are shared!

For now I have to go work on my outfits for New York and figure out what I'm going to pack for fall in the city!! Thank you all for sticking with me!
